Anyone have a Bedell?

I was schooled at a Breedlove dealer this weekend and ran across Bedell who is the owner / President of Breedlove.

They had a vegan guitar, vegan meaning a certain tree that has fallen (not living) which played incredible. This tree is only found in a small area in Oregon.

The hairs on my arms stood up when I played it. Tom Bedell signature is on a tag on the inside. I had never seen those colors before either. His guitars are really oddballs when it comes to color.

If you were a guitar builder this is the guitar you would build yourself. That's what these seem to be. Only a few are made a year.

I have a really nice Bedell Jumbo. Sitka/Maple, Ebony fingerboard/bridge, Maple binding. Going up for sale because it's too big for my sore shoulders.

Musicians Friend. It's the SKB-20 Deluxe Jumbo case.

The Bedell US factory (Bend) is putting out incredible guitars made from an exceptional stockpile of beauuuutiful wood. Definitely quality instruments coming out of that plant--Breedloves included.

I believe Bedell's are found in herds, not flocks.

There are a lot of Vegans in Oregon. I would assume that there is no hide glue used on this guitar.

The Lucky Strike Bedell lives in Dallas and they let me play it. You can still tell it is a Bedell but yet it is unique and exquisite. Problem is, I know even better guitars and a few nice cars that I could get for the same coin. IMO
