First multi-track recording!
Here's my first try at mixing two tracks. They were recorded using a Miktek PM5 on the guitar and a Miktek PM9 for vocals into the Auria DAW on the iPad. Then they were transferred to a PC and mixed in Studio One.
https://soundcloud.com/david-lane-16/falling-up-1 My performance isn't great but I'm digging the relative ease of this and I believe that with some minimal tweaking my "studio" is going to be fine.

Actually IMO the performance is fine and I quite enjoyed it.
And you are right you are most of the way there, recording and mixing wise Are you looking for any critique and suggestions for some additional mixing tweaks ?

Absolutely! Critique away.
Flailing around, as I am, can be tiresome. I'm learning DAWs as well, so it's probably over processed. David

I really enjoyed listening to your clip. The Mikteks sound very good. I currently own a Miktek CV4 and a matched pair of C5s are on my radar. Re: the mix of your tracks; the guitar is tending to overpower your vocal a bit. You have a nice voice so why not let us hear a little more of it? Thanks for sharing your efforts. Trevor |
