Default Classical Gas

Here is my version of Classical Gas (Mason Williams.) My favorite part of this cool song is the section that comes a little over 1 minute in. Hope you enjoy it. Comments are welcome.

Liking your rendition, you put your own flavour into it so it doesn't sound like a carbon copy. I agree with you, there are some nice moments after the 1 minute mark. Keep up the good work

Very nice work, and super clean! Just curious, your tone is awesome, what is your recording setup?

September, I like it! Great playing. I like the tone of the guitar too, what is it?

Also, a slight belated "Welcome to the AGF".

Thanks for your comments! I recorded the Multiac Nylon through a Line 6 PodX3 with Audacity. The Multiac Nylon has a chambered body and I think that's probably what you're hearing. If you have a PodX3 I can share the patch. I added a slight amount of compression with Audacity. Thanks for checking it out!

I commented on this last week but just wanted to say again how much I'm enjoying listening to it again! :-)

I don't have the PodX3 but thanks anyway for offering to share the patch. It does sound great.

Nice job, Bruce. I liked it. Great song. I think that was the first cool song I learned how to play. Wish I remembered all of it!

Wouldn't it be nice if all the songs we learn could stay with us... I used to play a couple of Tommy Emmanuel songs that were a challenge to learn. But I tried to go back and play them and only certain parts come back easily. Oh well, even so, I still think that playing music has to do something good for the brain... even if I can't remember what it is
