My vote would be for a Collings OM1A with the "light build" option.

What does the "light build" include?

Get a Santa Cruz. Light build is standard.

Here's a quote from Jeff at The Podium, which AFAIK is responsible for the light build option.
"The most significant thing they do for us these days is pick out lighter, less dense but still nice, stiff top wood sets for more ring in the trebles and lighter, less dense back and side wood sets for a more powerful bass and a more three dimensional midrange so you can have the same strength but slightly different tonal and playing characteristics. When they voice the tops for fingerstyle they wind up with a little more scallop but the braces are the same width. All Collings are built with a slightly thinner back and side woods now as a result of the our early experiments with making lighter OM’s and D’s so they are all much better in terms of having a loose high performance feel and a more harmonically active voice and better sustain than those same instruments a few years ago even though a few years ago, they were still on top of the heap. We like them a little lighter yet and so that’s where wood selection and top voicing comes in. They are more easily driven and more tonally complex and three dimensional in sound and also has a feel that makes you feel like you can “fly” over the fretboard."

So did you ever pick out that perfect guitar? Or is the hunt still on?

I'm an OM guy also. I think Colling's makes great guitars. I've tried the OM 1A and it just didn't do anything for me. I thought their rosewood OM's were much better even though I prefer mahogany. I do own a Martin 000-18 GE that I absolutely love. Paid $2,000 used. There are a lot of great choices out there so just find one that speaks to you. If it happens to be the Colling's then go for it.

000-18GE!
Outstanding at it's price point, I have Martins way more expensive, the little GE still impresses.................
