Default Acoustic strings on T5?

Has anyone tried acoustic strings on their T5? I know Taylor recommends ordering a slightly differently compensated saddle they have if you prefer acoustic strings.

I was wondering how much it improves the acoustic tone, how much the electric tone suffers, and any other impressions people have from changing strings from the Electric Medium Nanowebs that come on the guitar.

Thumbs up

I changed to Acoustic Nano Lights, and also installed the Taylor 'Acoustic Saddle'. I noticed a BIG difference in the Acoustic capabilities, and IMHO the 'Electric' sound(s) are clean and more than adequate.

Really pleased with the overall change, that's my $.02

My favorite strings for the T5 are DR High Beam JZR-12 (12-52 with a wound 3rd). Electric strings with an acoustic feel, and I still use the original saddle. I don't play far enough up the neck to notice a difference in intonation.

Yep I got the acoustic saddle and put on Elixir medium light and medium strings with good results it seemed to work pretty well with mediums before the saddle swap but it is cleaner and intonation is right on now with the saddle swapped it sounds clean and crisp especially through my K4
