Default Help. Fingerstyle Home Recordings

Here are three samples of approximately 50 seconds each. We're wondering about the EQ of each and then how they sound relative to one another. If you click "Play Artist Radio" they should play in sequence. How's the volume; how's the bass; is the melody prominent enough on each one, etc?

Thank you all very much,
Phil

Absolutely beautiful!
The only mention would be the deep bass parts in 'Chet's hands' could be a little softer but that's it.

Default Yeah!

Nice playing, soundguy.

I was listening and thought your playing sounded reminiscent of Tommy Emmanuel, then upon reading your bio, I saw that he is one of your influences. Keep up the good work. It's tough to play a strong groove while playing the melody, you're developing those chops nicely.

Ben plays the guitar years ahead of his time. Does the P. in Benjamin P. Owens stand for Phil?

P stands for Philip. Ben's my first born. I have two more, Jameson 9, and Joseph, 6. And I really am just the soundguy, and the roadie, and the bus driver...and the ATM.

I don't play a lick.

Yes, they kind of come out and grab you by the neck out of nowhere. If you could turn that down just a smidgen, my amatuer ear would say the rest is perfect.

Yes, they are original. He's got a bunch of'em. This CD will have 6 originals and 6 hymns in various fingerstyle arrangements.

Thumbs up

I liked 'Chet's Hands'. I think, it shows off Ben's chops. Nice feel !
Also, 'Worthy the Lamb' shows some sensitivity in his playing. Nice tune as well.
