Cool It is finally finished

I just completed my first custom built guitar. I went with a strat body, two humbuckers Dimarzios with coil splitters, on the push push pots, both volumes no tone, the pots are located where the 2 tones would be on a strat. The body is lacewood, clear coated. The neck is maple with a pau fero fret board and stainless steel frets it has a shorter gibson scale as opposed to slightly longer Fender. The headstock is typical 70 style fender with black sperzel tuners. I went with a black Wilkinson tremolo. I purchased the neck, body, pots, and tremolo from Warmoth and I am really happy with the results.

Now I am looking forward to building my next one. FWIW, I am 42 and have been playing guitar for over 20 years. I had my brother in-law spray the body and a close friend who is a luthier wire it for me.

Cool. I can't wait to build my own, too!

How about some pictures?

I'll try to get some that do the guitar justice. "can you hear that sustain?" "well you would if it was playing"
