This is the best Collings dread I have ever owned or played. I am the 2nd owner, the first is a well known AGF member who is also a pro musician. When he put it up for sale, I saw the demo video and heard something unique in this one, called him immediately and bought it. The newest Collings are reportedly coming out of the factory looser, warmer, and easier to play -- and this specific guitar is a testament to that. It's incredible!

I have too many guitars though, and difficult decisions need to be made. My collection is heavy on Rosewood, and my ears generally bend toward the Martin/Gibson voicing anyway, so this one will be sold.

Overall condition is like new 9.9 out of 10 with minimal to no fretwear. I had a pro-setup done, with current action set at 6/64" and 4/64" with ~0.005" relief. Neck profile is the standard series mod-v with 2 3/16" string spacing. It's effortless to play, which is quite a statement coming from me and my history with this brand.

This is the best deal here right now. An essentially new Collings D2H with very desirable upgrades - 1-3/4" nut, Adi bracing, no tongue brace. I already have a Collings dread, or else I'd grab this and feel like I got away with something.
