Gibson SJ-200 Standard, Ebony SOLD
This is a December, 2022 build. Only a couple hours of play in my studio. The only mark on it is an approximately 1.75" cold check in the finish (only) on the top, bass side near the edge of the waist. It's been a year, and it has not changed, whatsoever - and is quite stable. Unless it was pointed out to you, you probably wouldn't even see it unless a harsh light caught it just right. Took quite an effort to show it [see last photo.] Was going to return it to Gibson, who offered to replace it, but it would have been taken 10-11 months, once put in the system. It just wasn't worth it. More important than the finish check, was the great sound. A replacement may not sound as good - just not worth the chance. Anyway, the guitar is otherwise is pretty minty. Comes with all factory materials.
The body features flame maple and is finished in Ebony. It comes equipped with gold Grover® Rotomatic® tuners, a TUSQ® nut, saddle, and bridge pins, and it is stage and studio-ready with an internal LR Baggs™ Anthem mic/pickup system. A Gibson hardshell case is included, which is all black - probably the coolest case Gibson has ever offered. These are $5699 new. Only selling because I just don't bond with maple guitars.
