Does any one have any tips to help a sore throat. I have to sing a whole set on Sunday and my voice is still rough froma lingering cold. I have been babying it for a day and gargling with salt water. Any other tricks or tips would be greatlt appreciated!!

A simple solution that's hard to do...........COMPLETE REST OF THE VOCAL CHORDS......that means NO TALKING and ABSOLUTELY NO WHISPERING....whispering is actually harder on the vocal chords. I had Laryngitis this spring and it took almost a week of (almost) complete silence to get over it !! Not sure the family liked it when my voice returned !!
