Default Well, I picked up my 710CE-LTD yesterday...

Picked up my 710CE-LTD yesterday. What a nice guitar! After owning, and playing many Taylor models, I'm pleasantly surprised at how sweet it sounds, and LOUD! I hate to admit it, but I think it actually sounds better than the 800 series guitars I've owned. The Cocobolo is visually stunning, beautiful grain, alittle darker than what I've seen. It has a little sapwood on the sides close to the spruce top, which is really offset by the Cocobolo. Absolutely georgeous. I have always liked rosewood best, but this is a killer guitar. I will try to post some pics as soon as it is possible. Most unusual. I personally have not seen any other 700 series LTD's that look like this. Think I'll hang on to this one.....

Congrats on a SWEEEET guitar. I got one back in March and I love it- truly the best guitar under 2500 bucks I have ever played, and my favorite dread for versatility purposes...

I like the 810 for slamming hard, but the 710ceLTD works well in all situations. Needless to say, Im gonna be holding on to mine for a long time

Can't wait to see pics of yours!

Hey Now,

My 710ce-ltd has a very thin strip of sapwood right underneath the top as well.

Whats the production date on your model? Mine was October 26th. I wonder if yours was made close to mine ,seeing as how we both have the thin strip of sapwood around the sides.

take care,
Jared

Robert,

Congratulations. I have read a lot of posts about people buying Ltd models. Since they usually only make 250 to 500, I assume most Ltd buyers are on this forum.

Anyway, enjoy your new axe!

I still love my Coco 710. It's loud...almost hurts my ears. I can deal with it.
