Looks like an interesting piece.
Lots of great music and musicians. I might watch it but I might not. I'll read the synopsis first. I don't have all fond memories of those times and what was happening.

Me too, I love good Rock music docs and there is little doubt of Laurel Canyon being pivotal in music history ....... Thanks for posting
Some years back I had conversation with my daughter Now 31 in one of her high school history classes they were studying the 60's and the relationship of "the music and the times". She quoted her teacher as saying it was perhaps a "Perfect Storm of influences and factors musically and socially" . And indeed it was. And I remember I was struck by her young wisdom when she said "ya know dad I guess it is not really possible to understand completely, unless you were there" ............. Here is a thought on the "California Scene " by Shawn Mullins, that I play in my set list
