Yeah...it has been a long time since I've seen anything from him too. Hope he's okay. I remember he'd acquired a CS 00-42 a while back but that's about it. You out there Rich?

Rich is (was) a great AGF member. Last time he was here was 09-06-2018. Not sure why he left. He is (was) one of our resident Martin experts.

I have been thinking the same about him recently. Also Long Jon and Cotton....I've not checked for recent activity, perhaps they are just in listening mode.

Yes, Rich has been a knowledgeable and mature contributor to AGF. I've always enjoyed his posts, perspective and wit. I hope he returns to post.

Yes, I've wondered where Long Jon has gotten to, him with his dry wit and jokey nature.[emoji1] .

Hi, I've been wondering about Chicago Sandy too.
I recently sent an email to her asking how she was.

I know she has had considerable health issues and was very supportive to me when i was going through my "cancer" year in 2017.

I met Long Jon in London a few weeks ago and he's doing fine.

She seems to be doing well - recently got back from a trip to Israel - and has a very active Facebook page if you're interested...

The poster means "Cotten," of course (a "Cotton" is a relative newcomer to AGF)--former moderator here.

Here's former AGF moderator John Cotten in a video, posted to YouTube on August 13, 2013, with the caption--"Presentation of the Acoustic Guitar Forum Award Guitar to moderator John Cotten by owner Jr Rogers. (Guitar was built by luthier Tim McKnight)."

What about Amyfb and HHP (Harry)? I can't recall Harry posting since shortly after his retirement.

There are any number of names that have disappeared lately if you think about it - this happens. In my relatively short time here, there have been several breaks of 2-4 months after getting frustrated with the dialogue and tenor of some discussions. Wade Hampton Miller (who I know from my Alaskan days) has talked me off the ledge more than once. I admit that I would be long gone if not for my interest in carbon fiber guitars and that particular room.

These things go in phases....

I miss Cotten, Rich, Harry, Jon, Sandy, and Amyfb. I know Sandy’s health issues have been a long grind.

I reckon from time to time we get ornery and create stress even for our buddies . I picture Harry out fly fishing. I’m betting Amy will be glamming at Merlefest in a couple of weeks. Cotten will be racing about on his three-wheeled toy.

Rich will be gigging in some upscale coffee shop.

I’m hoping they come back. (If Harry does, I promise I will no longer rib him about his retirement. Maybe. If he’ll just stop rubbing it in.)

Harry (HHP) and I exchanged PMs a few months back after I noticed he was MIA. He was doing good.

MC1 (Morgan) is someone I miss. He had a great sense of humour and "published" the AGF magazine here on this site with some great humorous content. I couldn't reach him the last time I emailed him about a year ago.
