Ngoc Thuc D45S 12-Fret Adi/Zỉicote SOLD
This is a Ngoc Thuc 12 fret Dreadnought which is based off the Martin D-45S. The top is Adirondack with Ziricote back and sides, the fingerboard and bridge is also Ziricote. The binding is highly flamed Hawaiian Koa. The guitar was made in Vietnam about a year and a half ago. Its been in the U.S. for a little over a year and has acclimated to the weather humidity well, no cracks or warping of any sort. I know there is a stigma on guitars built in tropical weather and brought to the states. There is light yellowing near the soundhole area but hasnt spread, it was that way when I got it .The guitar also has a K&K Pure Mini pickup installed. The guitar does have a light coat of shellac on the inside of the sound box. Waverly engraved tuners, Greven pickguard, Bob Colosi Dyed bone bridge pins though one of them the wood inlay popped out, and beautifully inlayed. Plays nice and sounds good. Im only asking $old plus shipping/paypal. comes with a TKL hard shell case.

Looks nice! What's your thoughts on the tone and volume? What kind of guitars might you compare it to?

It defintely projects very well, it is comparable to a Martin D-28VS, being an Adi top it will continue to open up

How would you describe the bass projection compared to the mid range? I've been listening (lusting) to every Martin D35 Avett, which is sort of between a D35 and a D28.
