Default The Coco has Landed! (pics)

My 714 summer strummer LTD is finally in the house, (and by the pool). I think all my years of dread playing colored my ears a bit. Although she sounded awesome against all the GCs and GAs at the store, she seemed to be missing something at home. Then I realized I was expecting her to sound like my dread..duh I readjusted my expectations and found her to be much warmer than I expected, almost cedar topish. The balance and clarity is just what I was after, and sounds incredible on tape.

Overall she is tuly a stunner and scratches an itch my 810 and hd28 couldn't. As Koaguitarman says..it's a worthless thread without photos, so here ya' go. I tried to keep 'em small for those of you on dial-up.

Mmmm....gorgeous. I have one of these in a Grand Concert. I love it a lot. As well as my 814ceLTD, which is the same, except minus the backstrip. Love them both - they are keepers. Congrats on yours! You will surely enjoy it!

WOW!!! Look at the back on that beauty! That's very beautiful, it has the looks of Brazilian. I've been bitten by Coco.. OUCH! You're very very lucky to own such a guitar, wow.

SWEET, Cat! Very nice back, just so pretty, so red, so coco! I love to fingerpick with mine because it seems warm like a regular 714, but bright with a pic. I'm such a fan of these guitars that I can't be objective........they rock! Congrats!
