Default Bolt-on necks

Hi folks, I haven't been around here for a while.

Is there, or can we a compile, a comprehensive list of makers who use bolt-on necks?

I can start:

Taylor
Bourgeois
Collings*
Some LaSiDo*
Smallman*
Some Ovation?*

It would also be useful to know which of them use a glued fretboard extension as opposed to fully bolt-on. I've marked mine with an asterisk.

Thanks.

Thanks

Default Bolt on

Add Breedlove to that list.

I might be corrected by some Martin faithful on this, but I believe some lower end Martins also use a bolt on neck.

And believe it or not, I know exactly where Toowoomba is.

I have friends who emigrated from Calgary Canada there some years ago.

I believe the pre-NT neck Taylors have a glued fretboard extension.

I believe Adam Buchwald at Circle Strings also uses a bolt on neck with glued fretboard extension setup.

Thanks for the replies so far, a big help. Re the uncertain ones, at least it points me in a direction that I can do some more research.

Re Martin, and similar. I was thinking of necks that didn't need steaming to get them off, rather than the bolt+glue as used by Martin, but it is all useful info.

Herb Taylor uses bolt-on.

Mossman was bolt + glue.

I understood the US-made Breedloves are bolt-on, but the foreign-made are not.

Goodall guitars have ALWAYS had a bolt-on neck... which surprised me when James told me that every one of the guitars he's built has used that system!

I believe that Jim Olsen also uses a bolt-on neck? Not entirely certain.

Breedlove, yep. (Haven't heard the distinction between American and Asian-built, though...)

Furch/Stonebridge

But I don't think Martin makes the list.

You might be better off listing builders who use dove tail joints.... the list will be smaller

Yamamoto uses an excellent bolt-on method.
