Default They only made eleven 912 ce L1s last year

Just thought I share it with you. I called Taylor. They only made 11 guitars like mine. This is so cool.

I wonder how many 914ce L1's were made. I've seen a few on this forum including mine.

I've seen somewhere that 93 914CE-L1 models were made. Still pretty rare, lucky us, huh?

Default 2003 912 CE L1 are not revoiced

I guess there were only 11 made because the 12 series are not as popular as the 14 series. Also, there were a choice of L1, L2, and regular so that probably diluted the count of each one. There might have been more choices such as summer strummers that I don't know about.

You know, one of the things I saw on the Martin website was a list of which dealers got whatever particular special edition model you look at. Would be pretty cool if Taylor did something similar.

I have a 95 912c. While I don't play it as much anymore I can't bring myself to sell it. I did play it last night and am always amazed at how comfortable it is to hold and play....the tone after 9 years is just about as mello as you can get. To me, these old 900 series guitars are true classics if there can be such a thing with a Taylor......just curious, why are you thinking about selling?

I'm sure the newer 912s are nice too!!

From what my dealer told me, my 954ce-L2 is a one of a kind. Taylor built it (as requested by me) with the Cindy Inlay rather than the older 900 inlay the maple model was supposed to have. It's kind of cool to think I have the only one.

MAKE it a GREAT day!!!

That's cool , I have a 912 Cindy 1994, I just acquired this year, no dings no fret wear, its like it was never played but was , its open and faded darker and just wonderful,

By the way guys , I wonder how many 914ce L1's with a Florentine cutaway were made. LOL I just love exclusivity, but I wasn't so happy with having to trade my 614 AND a W14 to get it . That sucked but in the long run it was worth it , I would not swap my current 914 CindyFlo, for three anything Taylors. Hey when they did that one they got it right , heck even the ES works on it LOL

That really is cool.... given that Taylor made 70,000 guitars last year.

There's another cool way to look at this:

Eleven of them represents just %1.5714..... of their total production! Your in the %1.5 club!

I have wondered how many 914c (no electronics) LTD L1's were made. Also my 914c LTD L2 has a florentune cutaway. I've never seen one anywhere. It's natural flamed maple and sitka. How many of those? Perhaps I should call. Who does one speak with?
