Croz is an interesting character, and as a child of the 60s myself, I loved his role in C S & N. However, having seen him in a solo concert, I can't help but think his skills are best demonstrated as part of something larger than himself...

David Crosby had a recording contract with a guy I went to school with. His sister had a record shop / coffee shop here in the midwest. As a type of favor David came to town and did a solo concert in the coffee shop that was not much bigger than some peoples family room. My wife and I sat at a table right in front of the stage about eight feet from him as he played. He did it all wonderfully. Just my experience.

Cool stuff..

He's into guitar's and that's very cool! Not every artist or musician loves their instrument. Some say they're just tools of the trade? But not him...Especially seeing David genuinely feel for the loss of that Dread he spoke about towards the end.. The one that "got way" traded for drugs.

Love your music Mr Crosby.

Thank you for sharing the video. I like when he said "America should be really proud of Martin Guitar Co."
Trading a 1939 herringbone Martin for a bag of substance. That will hurt me for the rest of my life too.

Default David Crosby on acoustic guitar

Has Crosby been a butthead on many occasions? Yes he has, but in my mind he's one of the best !!

Very cool...thanks for posting. Crosby is best in a group setting but what a great writer and so cool that at his age he's still chasing the music and still has so much to offer. And anyone of us probably doesn't love our guitars anymore than that man does his. They've birthed so much music and after all that they are still fertile! And he still makes beautiful music with them. "Carry On" David...

I love that he keeps all his guitars in his (giant) bedroom.

I'll disagree. I saw him on the 2016 tour and he was great. I love the new material and he/they did great justice to classic material. I'm picking a random clip without previewing it, but I'll bet it's pretty sweet.
