2007 Rockbridge Honduran Mahogany/Bearclaw Red Spruce Dreadnought **Traded!**
Fantastic Rockbridge dreadnought in traditional wood combination for sale. This guitar is light as a feather and has a clear, rich voice. Featuring a bound neck and headstock, unmarked frets, Waverly tuners, bone nut and saddle, ebony fret board and bridge, 1.75" neck width at nut and a 25" scale. The string spacing at the saddle is 2-1/4" and the neck is a very comfortable soft "V" shape. The guitar has been keep in a non smoking environment so there are no "off" aromas or tobacco film.
Includes an arched hard shell case. Rockbridge guitars have a very thin, water based finish. It contributes to the clear sound of the guitar, but it is also very soft and easy to mark. The guitar has several finish marks that are very hard to photograph, but no scrapes, gouges, scratches, cracks or signs of mishandling. Interested in trades for other high end guitars. Asking Traded delivered to the lower 48. Last edited by Keith7940236; 03-20-2017 at 01:19 PM. |

Any pics of the headstock? Where the marks that you referred to? Thanks!

There are a some marks from a winder on the back edge of the headstock for the "G and D" keys. It looks like the guitar sat on a stand as the back of the neck looks like it has a few marks. At the correct angle, you can see some small marks on the back and top. But like I said, they can't be photographed.
The finish on Rockbridge guitars isn't the hard gloss that you see typically with Nitro finishes. it is a softer, very thin water based material. You'll notice that the guitar doesn't reflect light in the same way that a lacquer finish would. Here is the headstock. |
