Default MF has Alvarez parlors for $249

A pretty good price. Musicians Friend has two models on sale for $249, one with electronics. Alvarez Artist series.

Here's the link: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/searc...alvarez+parlor

They have a discount code HOLIDAY that may take off another 17%. I don't know that for sure.

Argg...

I really like those. Making it hard to stick to my "no more wooden guitars" pledge.

Haha! It's funny that you say that as I know you are an appreciator of carbon fiber guitars. I just went the other way and bought a Martin Dreadnought Jr. I know exactly what you mean by your statement- wood guitars sound great and have their charm, but man they are high maintenance!

The one with the electronics has a laminated mahogany top.

That 17 percent off deal probably won't work because MF normally does not combine discounted promotions on top of an item already on sale. However, it may work on a guitar with a price drop; they are different.

You can call anyway and test the waters.

Tonight I re-fill all the humidifiers (again).

So tempting. But i've read in the forums that the string spacing is a little tight at the saddle. Anyone have issues with that?
