Anybody Watching "Hap and Leonard" on Sundance?
Kind of quirky, a little like "Fargo", not quite as engaging but still pretty good.
Stars James Purefoy (Ironclad) and Michael Kenneth Williams(The Wire) as Viet Nam vets living in early 80's Texas. Williams was spectacular in "The Wire" as Omar, the sexually versatile drug thief who Williams managed to turn into the only character in the show with integrity. The show follows the two on a treasure hunt for missing stolen money along with their post-hippie accomplices and a couple of murderous killers after them. Worth checking out. |

I might give it a watch... but I'm more interested in watching it because of Christina Hendricks.
