For Sale: Gold Tone BT-2000 6-String Banjo Guitar (Banjitar) - SOLD

I'm not playing this instrument as much as it deserves, so (regretfully I'm sure) I'm going to move it along. It's a Gold Tone BT-2000 6-string banjo (aka banjitar). Will include a very handsome Gold Tone hard case and a Gold Tone ABS-2 microphone and preamp system that works well. I just plugged in to my Genz Benz Shenandoah Pro and boy, does it sound nice. Price is SOLD(CONUS only please). Only trade would be for Strymon pedals, especially a Big Sky, Timeline, or Mobius...PM me and we can workout valuation.

Many consider this model to be the best 6-string banjo you can buy for the money. This particular model has been played, but is still in great shape (conservative 8.5/10). The only blemish is a small scratch in the gloss finish on the back of the neck at fret 3 or so. It's not a ding, just a scratch and it is virtually imperceptible to the touch.

The larger 12” body accentuates the bass frequencies which are normally weak on other 11” 6-string banjo models. The maple rim and 12” rolled brass tone ring provide maximum sound chamber reverberation. Dual coordinator rods attach the neck securely so tuning remains consistent and adjustments are done easily. Other features include an ebony fingerboard, Hot Dog armrest, Renaissance banjo head, ebony heel cap, and a vintage inlay design.
