Default Here is where you invest all those football millions

I am wondering....do we call this BGAS.... Beatles "Gear" Acquisition Syndrome? (Pun intended)

Too bad so few can play at this level:

P.S. I still own a couple of Beatles cards from 1965 and I have a copy of the original sheet music for Instant Karma on my music stand right now that I pulled out of storage a while ago.

Just because it's accepted, doesn't make it any less ridiculous.:

That's a huge part of music history. If I had his kind of money, I would have outbid him...

His money, he can spend it how he chooses to. I can think of more unworthy ways to part with that kind of money than buying Beatles memorabilia. (Paying it in taxes, for example)

He sounds like a real fan. Good for him.

This is funny:

The implication is that only crazy billionaires spend $10M, while $2.25M puts the kit straight within the reach of a sane average Joe.

He doesn't have much of a choice with the taxes (40%)

But I agree, good for him. He has the means to collect this stuff (his net worth is over 2 billion), and he seems really appreciative of it.

Every time I read that it sounds like a title of honor "His Royal Eminence , the Nadir of Absurdity".
