Default Any Nashville guys out there

I am looking for a good place that does repair work and set ups in the Nashville area. I have heard that the Classic Axe is the place to go. Also heard that Joe Glasser is good. Can any of you guys in the Nashville area comment on this.

I'm sure anyone mentioned so far can do a fine job. Make sure you ask about turn around time if that's important. Can't imagine much better than Joe for a setup. Maybe even a Plek.

I have a friend that moved from Long Island to Nashville. He now works at Fruhn's. He was one of the best techs up here and said he expected to learn a ton from the bench guys already there. I'm sure they'd do a good job.

Glaser does warranty work for Collings.

Marty Lanham and Richard Starkey are probably the two best in the neighborhood.

Gruhn's of course has a competent staff as well as Carter Vintage, then there is John Levan. Cotten Music also has a good tech.

Unless you bought your instrument from them Gruhn's will actually try to turn you away, or should I say steer you away. They act like they are too busy and say "why not spread the work around." Classix Axe really helped me when I was in a jam and all under warranty.

Greg at Classic Ax has done great work for me for years. He's a one man shop and will take time to talk thru the work with you.

On the Classic Ax home page if you click on the link "Veiw the Classic Ax Interveiw with Master Guitarist.com" that's me interviewing Greg in the video.

John Levan (google him) will be in the top echelon of set-up men in Nashville.
