Arrow GUITAR HAS BEEN TRADED - Edwinson EF-75 Falcon

For your consideration is an Edwinson EF-75 Falcon guitar from luthier Steve Sheriff. Steve is a highly regarded luthier and AGF sponsor well known to many on here from his build threads and exhibitions at the Memphis and Healdsburg Guitar Festivals.

The EF-75 Falcon packs a lot of sound into a compact and comfortable to play instrument. Its very articulate in the midrange for fingerstyle and has a surprising amount of bass when played through a PA or acoustic amp.

Steve was honored with the "2009 Acoustic Guitar Forum - Founder's Choice Award" for his very first EF-75 Falcon exhibited at that year's Healdsburg Guitar Festival. Carrying on that tradition, Steve designed, built and exhibited this EF-75 Falcon for the 2011 Healdsburg Guitar Festival.

The fit and finish on this guitar are as you would expect, top notch as is the sound. This guitar is equipped with a K&K and sounds like a much larger premium instrument when played through a PA or acoustic amplifier. I've even used this guitar strung for Nashville tuning in an acoustic guitar ensemble to good results.

If you're a fan of parlors or other smaller bodied premium quality acoustics or are looking for a smaller comfortable to play guitar, you owe it to yourself to check this one out!

I acquired the guitar 2 years ago from a respected forum member who only held it a short time while commisioning an Edwinson nylon string crossover.

I took delivery of this guitar in a soft shell case. Steve was great and let me return the soft case to him and helped me upgrade to a brand new custom fit gold level Ameritage logo hard shell case constructed to the Falcon's unique dimensions. I ordered one in burgundy inside and out to compliment the cocobolo appointments (bridge, fingerboard, headstock overlays, binding) on this guitar.

The chatoyance of the guitar's Movigui back appears as though you've dropped a pebble into a golden pond and are watching the ripples flow outward. Its nicely contrasted with a bear claw Alaskan spruce top. Just a fine example of Steve's design prowess.

Thanks Okeem22 this EF-75 Falcon is a beauty, sounds great and is super comfortable to play.

bubbaprime, as an owner yourself, you know the quality Steve builds into his custom guitars. This one is a great value for your investment.

Several inquiries from interested parties, but it is still available.

Default Movingui

This guitar has a eclectic vibe and great tone in a compact package.

One respected builder and regular on AGF has described the Movingui tonewood characteristics this way:

"I would broadly characterize the tone of Movingui as falling between Koa and Honduran mahogany - it has more balance that mahogany but slightly less overtones than Koa"
