Default Larrivee 000-50 SOLD

Hi folks. I recently received this wonderful instrument from fellow AGFer Rick Spreitzer on a trade. The 000-50 is near the top of Larrivee's line, and it is quality throughout. The two reasons I am selling are: 1. It's too nice for what I originally intended (campfire, etc.) 2. There is a lot of tonal overlap with my Kopp L02. This video (used with permission) gives a very accurate description of the instrument with one small exception. The nut is 1 13/16. These traditional 000s or truly a "do it all" model--finger picking, flat picking, or strum. The case has a few marks but is solid with all latches in good working order.

I am offering it at $SOLD--east of the Mississippi. If you're on the other side of the river, we'll work something out. Payment fees are buyer's responsibility if you choose to go that route. REASONABLE OFFERS CONSIDERED

Specs: Clearly this is not the total sunburst finish, but everything else should be correct:

Only possible trade I would entertain is a Rain Song Shorty with a little cash coming my way.

4.5" inches (taken from Larrivee's website and confirmed on this instrument). I have added link to the specs. Thanks for the inquiry.

The YouTube demo by the previous owner gives different nut width and string spacing specs. Which are accurate?????

I went back and double checked some of the specs. The nut is 1 13/16 as stated in the ad, however, the string spacing at the saddle is a shade over 2 1/4 inches, not the 2 3/8 per Larrivee specs. Thanks for asking

Thumbs up Good Deal

Great guitar, I have the sunburst model. I have had several transactions with Frank and all were outstanding.

Default Larrivee 000

I am the previous owner and guy who did the video. Trust Frank's specs. Mine were taken from the owner prior to me. I've dealt with Frank a couple of times and met him face to face both times. Honest, thorough and fair. Great AGF-er and pretty good author as well. The Larrivee is a real beast! My guitarist flat picked it at a recent song circle and it bursts with power. For me, a thumb strummer and fingerstyle player, it shimmers with balance and brilliance. This guitar does it all.

Great guitar. Great seller. Priced very reasonably. These high end Larrivees are some of the best kept, under-valued secrets in the acoustic guitar world.

I had a chance to play this guitar recently. I'm not in buying mode, Frank and I were just playing each other's guitars. Frank had just received the Larrivee in trade. It really is a great guitar. It plays easily and sounds awesome. I was impressed. It will make someone a very happy player.

Thanks Daryl and Bruce. Includes an active I-beam pickup with sound hole controls. Truly the complete package. Reasonable offers considered.

Default Thursday pm

For those familiar with the Larrivvee SD-50 (a 12 fret cannon of a guitar), this 000-50 offers a surprising amount of the bottom end with all of the mids and ringing trebles in a much more comfortable size.

I am the previous owner. Serious regrets about parting with it. Been back and forth in my mind about trading one of my Rainsongs and some cash for it.

It's been said before, this guitar does and has it all. Fingerstyle. Blues-rag. Chord strumming. Even flat picking. I dare you to find a better sounding 000... let alone in this price point. Doesn't exist. These guitars sold new in the high $2000's. A steal at $1700.

(as I step away from the podium).
