Default Humidified Guitar Display Cases. Anyone have one? Pics?

I saw these and thought they looked nice. I like the ability to have something a little smaller like this for my main guitar as opposed to a large "wall unit" that allows me the flexibility to move it where I want it.

Any others or thoughts? I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on something like this for my Goodall.

I have a humidified guitar cabinet for my acoustics. This was made by Jim Atchley, Guitar Guardian in Cabot, AR.

I did the meet and greet on the Kiss (K)ruise last year and got one of Paul Stanley's stage played acoustics. Check out the neat cabinet that Kevin Mahanay of Guitarhumidor.com made for me. This was before I had it hung on the wall. This also comes with a humidifier. Very nice work. I highly recommend both builders.

Yeah...I'm not looking to build a home made cabinet. I wanted something professionally done. By the time you buy all the materials and spend all the time making something, you'd probably spend almost what the folks in the link I provided are charging, especially if you need to rent the tools.

Very nice frances50! Those look much nicer than my repurposed Aquarium stand. I recall from another thread a guitar cabinet made from old barn boards, it looked very nice. The only positive about mine is that it cost me under $100 in materials.

I was just about to start a thread on these cases. I received my Acoustic Remedy case yesterday and placed an order for another one this morning. I had them add a keyed lock (this is an upgrade and will cost extra) to keep people from helping themselves to my guitars. Here's a pic of mine with my Bourgeois Slope D, case is Cedar and you can see the lock mechanism on the left side interior at about the middle of the case. I also looked in to Kevin Mahanay of Guitarhumidor.com cases, but went with the AR case, I don't think you could go wrong with either one...

Thanks for the replies everyone. I really love this one, but it's very pricey.

I have several cases from these guys: http://www.sfdisplay.com/GuitarDisplayCase.aspx

Inside each case, at the bottom, I have a soapbox full of water beads, and a Caliber IV hygrometer. Works great for me. Total cost of each case, including the soapbox, water beads and hygrometer is less than $150.

Yes, you picked his most expensive model. Mine is the "Gem" and it's eight sided and almost half the cost of the the model you mentioned. I like mine. Kevin makes a quality product and his prices are comparable for the quality of the wood and craftsmanship he puts into his cases.

Nice display cases! I went with a nice Katahdin guitar display case. The humidification is old school, but works incredibly effectively - there are two plastic "bins" around 5" by 18" by 4" deep that you put 3" sponges in with water. I'm in the northeast, and these devices keep the humiditiy in the sealed cabinet right at 50%. No fancy device necessary. I've found that humidifying a relatively small cabinet is very easy.

Yes...His most expensive model also happens to be his most beautiful in my opinion. I will probably hold off for now and just humidify in my case. Logistically, I'm not ready to purchase any "furniture" type items, but I will be next year when I move into my new house.

That is nice, I may try to make one like that some day. Right now I don't have the room for another case (unless I get rid of another aquarium).

I had one of these made for me. It has a humidifier and humdistat built in. Three or four cases fit in the bottom storage area.
