Hi, I've lurked on the board and searched for info on acoustic amps. I'm mostly a fiddle and mandolin (including mandola, octave mandolin and mandocello) player. Of course I also play guitar. Thanks for the add.

I have an extra GS Mini neck which I'm still going to use by scaling the width back to octave mando size. My playing buddy has a Weber Octar being built for him so I'm waiting to check that out before doing the conversion. Hi Rudy4 - actually I got lots of great acoustic amp info searching this forum. I ended up getting a Carvin AG300 which I really like, though I haven't spent enough time with it yet. My main player is a custom built 26" 10 string mandocello (aka luito moderno) tuned C-G-D-A-E with octave pairs on the lower 3 courses. I'll post a few pics when I get home.
