Lace Pickups in Acoustic

I am talking with Emerald Guitar about making me a travel 7 string acoustic and am considering a Lace Pickup to combine with the B Band.
Understand that i'm not looking for tradtional acoustic sound and use the magnetic type pickups mostly for bass.
i'm wondering if anyone has experience with these and can compare to say a Sunrise (which i have on one of my 7 strings)

I seem to recall that Doubleneck has used the slim Lace pickup, in combination with the Baggs Lyric, in his doubleneck Emerald guitar. He even posted a video sound sample.
