Hey everyone! I've been a lurker for a while and I'm glad to be here. My name is Shane. I'm 25 and I've been playing for about ten months. I bought my Seagull S6 about 5 years ago thinking I'd learn. Instead it became a dust collector for years. I recently picked up an A&L Ami cedar also.
I've got a good grasp of the cowboy chords and my barres are coming along. Looking forward to adding my (amateur) input. I also run and enjoy wetshaving and whiskey.

Oh and here's a picture I took last night to validate this thread. Thanks for having me!

Welcome. I'm not an expert voice here yet. I've got a Seagull and love it. I do small guitar repairs and adjustments for myself and friends. All for free and successful so far. So far, everyone I've chatted with here have been real cool folks. Most if not all way better players than me.

Thanks, guys. Riverwolf, I live in Indiana, but I'm from California and consider the Central Coast my real home.

Welcome. This is the friendliest forum I am a member of, and they are the nicest. Even when they argue they do it nicely.

Shane, Welcome to the AGF! Dust off that Seagull, take a sip from your drink, and make those fingers sore.

Hi Shane, welcome! (I'm also pretty new around here). Its very easy to spend/waste/enjoy a lot of time on this forum. What part of the California central coast are you from? I had a home in the Santa Cruz mountains for a number of years before moving to Southern California. Nice pic by the way, very artistically presented.
