Quantum Blender
Hi everyone,
This is my first post as a relative beginner, so please excuse my ignorance. I cannot work out how the loop function works on my quantum blender as it has one 1/4 inch input marked "effect loop send/tip return/ring". I'm sure there is a simple answer but it escapes me. |

I'm sorry, you won't get any help here with that. This is the microphone section

Jingle, your connector is a TRS jack (tip, ring, sleeve). Use a cable like this one to connect an effects pedal: http://www.guitarcenter.com/Hosa-1-4...52-i3385297.gc

Sorry that you have misunderstood that this is section of the forum is for amplifying acoustic guitars. Many acoustic guitarists use effects with their acoustics, and in an attempt to support that, K&K provided an effects loop on the Quantum (other higher en preamp/blenders include an effects loop as well). Hello Jingle! Welcome to the forum… A Quantum blender is K&K's higher end dual source preamp/blender for acoustic instruments which have a K&K Pure Mini and Internal Mic. The Quantum requires a special ¼"male end cable which is wired stereo on the end that plugs into the Quantum, and has split mono cables at the other end, each with a mono ¼" male jack. These can be purchased, or home made. If you make them yourself, you can run the single cable from the blender to your effects, and then add mono cables at that point which are tailored to the length you need to plug in your effects. If you are using an effects module which includes several effects, it may already have a TRS (stereo) output in which case you could use a straight TRS cable. Hope this helps... |
