I was playing last night and my nine year old daughter comes in.
"Love you, Dad." "Love you too." "I'd love you more if you didn't buy so many guitars." I'm wondering if her mother put her up to this....

MAYBE...She wants something that costs what she thinks/knows a guitar costs. 9 year old girls are devious little schemers; I was one once.

How about getting your daughter a guitar, so she can share your love for music? Maybe a nice, smaller one, that you can play on the couch once in a while.

Might be a hint. They say the only difference between men & boys is the price of their toys. And I've seen many men neglect their responsibilities in favor of their toys. Perhaps guilty a few times myself. Only you and they know the real answer. Maybe time to reflect.
