F/S Late '68-Early '69 Gibson J-50

After much thought I am putting my late'68 early '69 J-50 up for sale.I bought the guitar about 7 months ago.It was in a tattered chip board case that was held together with tape. It was dirty, the adjustable bridge was lifting and was in need of a fret job.. I took it to a local luthier( Pat O'Donnell ) He was very impressed with the condition,NO CRACKS, all braces stable.We decided to change the adjustable bridge to a regular bridge and a total fret job and a good cleaning.He used the original bridge but removed the adjustable part,inserted a piece of matching rosewood and cut a slot for the saddle.A new bridge plate was also added.Fast forward 3 weeks...The guitar looks and sounds 100% better.It has that deep,woody Gibson sound .The guitar does have a great vintage vibe with lots of finish checking...there are normal use dings and a couple of wear areas.One wear area on the lower bout where your right arm rest and another on upper side that looks to be from rubbing on the inside of the chip board case(there was no padding in the case)Those two where dabbed with lacquer.There is another wear area on the neck from the thumb position on the cowboy chords. I bought a new case and it now lives in a new Gibson hard case.This guitar has some of the nicest mohogany I've seen.The action is medium low. The reason I'am selling..I have two other dreads that I play more and I'am not very comfortable with the narrow nut width( 1 & 5/8 ) with my big fingers.. feel free to email me with any questions... I am going to hold off on the sale(unless you want to buy it) until I can confirm the year.There is a lot of contradicting information regarding '60s Gibson flat tops..The 5 digits stamped on back of the head stock suggest '61-'64 The thin nut width (1&5/8) suggest '65-'67 The lower belly suggest '69 ...This guitar has all of these ... YIKES ... Any help would be greatly appreciated.

After talking with A vintage guitar expert( Tim Kummer ) he is comfident the guitar is a 1969 . The one piece neck indicates early '69 that along with the nut width, pick guard material and bottom facing bridge belly...I'am adjusting the asking price..A very nice vintage J-50 ... 2550.00 shipped... sorry for the confusion
