Default GONNA' DO IT...

I've been bouncing around some different ideas as to what my next guitar is going to be, and it looks like it's going to be a Martin D-18V, with a bone nut and saddle. For me, a Martin Dread is the way to go and, while the 510 gave it a helluva fight, the bottom line is that I've always really favored Martin dreads. I should have it (hopefully) in about a month or so.

Now, when the time comes to get a smaller-bodied guitar, or a Jumbo, you can bet your last buck that it won't say Martin on the headstock.

The new addition will, of course, be added to The Oasis once it arrives...

Steve

Good choice Steve.
The bone nut and saddle are the way to go w/ Martins.
That guitar will sing, no doubt. I had a D18GE for a while.
Super tone, but I wasn't too big on the "V" neck. I'm
currently looking into a Collings D1A which is very comparable to the Martin D18GE.

I had my D41 boned and it made a huge difference in sustain, volume, and tone. IMHO Martin should do this which all their models.
