I'm sure there must be but don't miss out on the Willamette Valley wines...best Pinot Noir in the world IMHO! Off topic I know but just had to say so? I do have "guitar family" there and will check with them...

Doughnuts?
VooDoo Doughnuts? Do they have holes in the middle just like guitars?

They're called "flavor ports," I believe.

Portland Fretworks on Alberta Street is excellent at making custom nuts...and just about anything else involving acoustic instruments.

Really the best guitar-related thing to do in Portland is to try to find Eric Skye and see him playing live. He plays most Saturday mornings in a tiny little cafe called Flying Cat Coffee, and you'll find yourself sitting about 4 feet from him while he astounds you with his playing. I also wrote Eric in advance and set up a lesson with him for that afternoon. Great guy, great player, and AGF member.
