No, but I just commissioned it--a Mark Hatcher Greta (EIR/cedar).

Ditto. Exact same builders on my dream list too. The only other I'd add is Michael Bashkin.

Right now (and subject to change upon whim) its the absolutely wonderful Gibson SJ-200 True Vintage that I bonded with last week at GC in Raleigh.

I don't own it, but my wife actually gave me the "green light" .... she absolutely loved it when I played it for her. She's great like that, but I'm the one who is hesitant to spend that much on a guitar.

Yes. After going GAS-crazy I reversed many for these great and versatile guitars.

They are not holy grail as in lusting after a particular icon but one each of acoustic and electric that possess the tone, feel and versatility I hoped for.

The Santa Cruz is now darker with signs of a lot of playing since 2009.

The SoCo 16 is not yet 3 months old but still hard to leave along.

No, and I never will since I don't have a "holy grail". I like good guitars and appreciate craftsmanship, but don't really get emotionally involved with current or future purchases. Probably, for most people, the guitar holy grail will turn out to be pretty much like its namesake, more about the seeking than the finding.

I do, a 2005 Martin OM-45 Tasmanian Blackwood, a very rare and wonderful guitar, #23 of 29, with an alternate torch headstock, hand carved gold tuners, 45 level appointments, flamed curly Engelmann over flamed Tasmanian Blackwood, my dream guitar......

I am not going to call it a "Holy Grail" guitar because I am too fickle for such a thing to exist. But I do own a guitar that I believe is as good as it it is going to get for me - a 1942 Gibson J-50.

It is the best sounding guitar I have ever played in my life and has a price tag of 8000$.

Yes, bought it about two months ago. 30 year old Martin D-28.

Just got it back from the shop last Saturday - big shout out for luthier Ken Blount. He reset the neck, cleaned up the frets, tightened up a couple loose braces, fixed the pickguard crack, re-glued the bridge, installed a bone saddle, recut the nut and buffed the finish.

Sounds terrific, plays easy, looks great. Can't ask for more than that.
