I'm into 45-65... under 5 '10",
under 130 pounds, preferably natural blonde with a brain.
No kids living at home and no current relationships.
Self reliant and self sufficient.. no religious affiliations.

Why do you want to know ?

I've a gut feeling most of us here at AGF are slightly younger geezers, if geezers are 65 and up

By the time we got to Geezerstock, we were several dozen strong.
And everywhere there was song and celebration.

(C'mon...you know this lyric was somewhere in the back of your mind.)

The 50-65 age range generally represents people who are either near the top of their careers or recently retired. The kids have (hopefully) left the nest a long time ago, and formal education is usually in the rear view mirror. That usually means more expendable income and/or time for toys and/or writing about them...

They won't let me in my age group.

One of the things I enjoy about the AGF is the mix of ages, backgrounds, geographic locations, musical preferences, etc. But then I'm not a big fan of pigeon-holing people in any regard. I strongly prefer taking each person as an individual, for better or worse.

Weird, I know!

And "we've got to get ourselves back to the garden" has a different meaning to us now, LOL.

Me... 50-65 group. How did I get here so fast?

Just turned 59, and I'm trying to figure how that happened so quickly. Seems like I was 30, maybe 35 a few weeks ago. Sometimes I look in the mirror or see a recent picture of myself and wonder briefly who that old, bald guy is. What really throws me is to see an old picture of myself, especially from the days when I weighed about 160 lbs and had a full head of hair.

I read a quote once that said "It takes ten years to get used to how old you are." I'd say it's more like twenty.

I'm not complaining, though. Alive at 59 sure beats the alternative!
