I saw that and it caught my eye, too. What is difference in O, OO, OOO?
It looks like a small guitar but seems to have real good sound.

Wow, you're right, that is stunning both visually and sonically.
I wasn't expecting the $6k price tag however. http://www.acousticletter.com/shop/m...fret-birdseye/ |

that really is a pretty cool guitar. the open d sounds a little twangy/buzzy, however. |

And folks say Taylors are bright.
But it's gorgeous. |

it is a nice sounding little guitar. there are a couple of features that I would not have chosen - the long saddle and modified V neck and maybe the colors of the purfling - but I wasn't the one who chose the specs

Now THAT'S using the custom shop to its fullest potential! The folks who commissioned it deserve almost as much cred as Martin for building it!

That is definitely one of the most aesthetically pleasing Martins I have ever seen. I traditionally love smaller guitars but I don't know if it was the player, the guitar, or the recording (I hope it was just the recording) but that sounded astonishingly mediocre to me. It seemed very boxy and twangy sounding.
