Does anyone know anything about this tone wood? It looks good. I wonder how it sounds?

Hi Jay....I have some and I have worked with it but other than that I have no idea how it sounds as a tone wood....sorry.

Thanks for the info Bill and Russ. I was thinking of buying a set for a guitar project. It looks purple when it finished. Bill is it hard and dense like ei rosewood?
