Taylor does great cosmetic repair work. I had a ding in my 614 that they fixed fast and cheap. You can't find a trace of the mishap.

I think you'll be happy with the results.

Be careful out there!

At a Pat Kirtley workshop, he showed us where he had literally split the side of his 514CE. Well, actually he couldn't show us, because the repair was completely invisable.

Check out this thread of a TGFer who just got his guitar back from Taylor: http://www.taylorguitarforum.com/for...threadid=27107

Hope that will ease your nerves a little.

Yes, their repair work is amazing. I would love to see how in the world they do what they do! Your baby will be as good as new when you get it back!

Every once in a while it is good to see that Taylor accepted THIS guitar for repair and did in fact repair it!

You can see more pics of the repair shop and the factory here:

Don't worry, It'll be like it never happened!

This may sound strange but look at bright side.
At least every guitar that is damaged, is PLAYED, and not gathering dust in a "collection".

All our scarred guitars are alive, and that is a good thing, I believe.
