Unless you're talking about an extremely expensive guitar or an extremely cheap car, you're talking about apples and oranges.

The thought involved in plunking down or going into debt for a $25K car is a lot different than the thought involved in plunking down $5K for a guitar.

I've had some money burning a hole for awhile. I've been drooling for a new Martin dread to compliment my Gibson. BUT.....there's a 1928 Ford Model A car that I've had on my mind too. You know the Bonnie and Clide car.

If I had to choose.....which I I pretty much have already.....I'm gonna buy the 28 ford. I've got a nice guitar already so I think my 2 year old daughter would have a lot more fun going down a Kentucky dirt road in that antique ford with her daddy.

Yea, I choose car. But not a NEW one since my family isn't on the forum ill share the secret. I bought the Ford Already. I got it hid at my cousins place until I get a child's seatbelt rigged up

I got a new guitar a couple months ago, so I'll take the car, please. I prefer black with a dark interior.

Some Makins huh. Well actually there are legal moonshine distilleries here and you can buy it at the local liquer store. And you don't go to jail as long as the lid stays closed until you get home lol

A car is an expense and a guitar is an investment.

Cars have never brought me any enjoyment. Just endless repair bills.

I could probably get by without a car but my wife would moan a lot.

Guitars make me happy.
