Default Is this a Yamaha FG700s!?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t0z16qEQtW4

and heres another video below accept that one is acoustic electric? Maybe it's just an older Yamaha Acoustic electric. Ive been searching all over the net trying to find model names that Rocky Votolato has used. I know he plays a guild now, but i really want to know which yamaha model.

The pickguard appears to be black, but i thought yamaha pickguards were shaped differently so maybe he swapped it.

As u say, unless he swapped the pickguard..or yamaha changed the design over the years, but the pickguard on mine is more brownish, and shaped a bit different....

The older FG700S (I have a Nippon Gakki from 1974) are 'S' meaning sunburst. Mine is built in the style of a Gibson Hummingbird, but the motif is actually a butterfly vice bird.

So that's certainly NOT an old FG700S.

When you play the sh*t out of it like that, does it matter what brand/model the guitar is? I think they pretty much all sound the same when pounded on like that. Not to say I don't like what the fella's doing. I do.
