Default Canadians wealthier than Americans

For the first time ever, the 'net worth' of the average Canadian is more than average American. So congrats to all of you in Canada! So not only do you have a really good health care system, you're wealthier than us too. I'm starting to be a bit jealous

Focus on those specializing in toques and you'll become a rich man!

It was that last guitar I bought that tipped the scales. I'll just return it.

So does that mean Godin is going to buy out Gibson so Gibson can finally make good guitars again and move them up North.

I'd return it just because of the ugly headstock alone!

the article speculates that housing prices didn't fall as much in canada as in the us.

i'd also guess that there are more super rich canadians now and they are raising the average. so the average canadian may not be much better off. things are hurting out east here.

Hillarious! I was watching the Comedy Channel a couple of days ago and Shaun Majumder was doing that skit.

Break out the Loonies and Toonies folks! We have net worth to spend on guitars - Gibson, Taylor, Martin, etc.

I'm sorry to hear they are cutting back on beer and hockey season tickets just to save some money.

Unfortunately, the part about the hockey tickets may be true. With the CBA being discussed now and expiring in a couple of months, who knows if the season will start on time.

Well look on the bright side. You'll see a nice population spike if there is no hockey.
