Default Yamaha 512 vs 512mk2

What's the difference between the FG-512 and the (obviously) later mk2 version?

What I've found out so far. Mk1 '77 - '81, slot head. Mk2 '81 - '85. Both made in ROC, same/similar laminated woods.

I'm thinking the Mk2 had conventional tuners as opposed to slothead?
