Default My 2nd Webber Roundbody

It should be in my hands in a couple of days. Sitka top, Rosewood back & sides and s Highlander IP-2 pick-up installed. It's about two years old I was told.

My first Webber was Engelmann over Sapele, so I'm expecting this one to be a bit different. I sold my first RB to a good friend, who lives about 8 hours away now. I hope to introduce the two to each other some day soon.

Not long ago I purchased a Webber Round Body (cedar over walnut) from a forum member. I must say that I am quite fond of the feel and sound of that guitar. I love the all-wood vibe and the tone is very special. I felt like I was taking quite a chance on buying a guitar based solely upon written accounts of the attributes of David Webber's guitars and pictures posted by sellers. I didn't know if I was going to like the feel of the neck and the soul of the instrument. Well, I can say I have no regrets. Heck, it even smells great.

That is indeed where I bought it. Did you get a chance to play it when it was there? What a great little guitar this is. The only thing that I would change is the abalone treatment. I could do with a bit less bling.

Hey there Fireside, just sent you a pm. This is back in Vancouver and for sale if you are still interested. I liked it so much I commissioned a custom from David that will be ready soon.

Wow!!! Strange coming across this post from you. I`m not in the game for a guitar right now but would love to have a strum on it. Is the guitar at Rufus or private sale?

Cheers

Private sale, it's in my room. Yes I've been exploring some of the old Webber threads and came across your post. I also played this one in Rufus before it sold to someone else. Just thought I would check, if you change your mind you can always check the local craigslist to see if it is still around. Cheers.

I like those invisible pics - leaves a lot to the imagination.

Congrats on the Webber. Will there be a 3rd in your future?
