Default FS Marc Beneteau Nick Lucas Custom w/ Adi Sunburst top

SOLD!

Up for sale is my Beneteau Nick Lucas Custom. Lots of beautiful extras like the Adirondack sunburst top, 13 frets, flamed Koa binding, spalted Maple rosette, side sound port and Waverly tuners.

This is a small bodied guitar with lots of punch and a full, rich sound. Compared to my Taylor GC8e, this guitar has more volume, resonance, depth and complexity, as would be expected from a guitar built by Marc Beneteau. Marc is a premier luthier and artist.. my photos just don't show how beautiful this guitar is. There is a very tiny ding above the soundhole.. I've added a couple photos of the ding... it looks significant when magnified, but it's really barely visible ordinarily.

Here's a clip of Al Petteway playing the guitar, from the DreamGuitar's website:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lRpt2...ure=plpp_video

And another, played by yours truly, tuned to DADGAD.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JUaDIvQtWig

Mahogany Back and Sides $5000.
Adirondack (Red) Spruce Top $ 400. to 500.
Side Sound Port $ 250.
Sunburst Top $ 250.
Inlayed Soundhole (Spalted Maple) $ 150.
Waverly Tuners $ 185
_______________
Total: $6235.

Selling for $3699., plus PayPal fees and shipping. Sorry, but I'm not interested in trades. PM me if interested.

Beneteaus are not as well known as some of the other builders, but I can attest, his guitars are second to none in workmanship and tone. My 2 cents and a 2 cent's worth bump.

I sure wish you had the funds, too.

Yeah, Marc Beneteau makes amazing guitars. This one has a lot of focused punch, making it an outstanding Blues guitar. Although, I must say, it handles alternate tunings well, too, since I play in DADGAD a lot.

Anyone interested in hearing it can watch Al Petteway play it on YouTube:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lRpt2...ure=plpp_video

You can also hear it in DADGAD: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JUaDIvQtWig (I don't have sophisticated recording equipment... this was shot with a Flip. Hope it does the guitar justice...as does my playing)
