Default SOLD, Stunning 12 string Fall LTD, Taylor Fall Ltd 654 L-7, 1 of 14 made.

SOLD! Looks lovely and sounds wonderful. One of only 14 made. Flamed maple body with koa mini back wedge, cocobolo purfling and rosette, leaf pattern inlays and curly koa binding. GA size fits nicely, sounds full and clean, maple just goes so well with a 12 string. Overall in great condition. I bought it from a collector who rarely played it. I played it often when I first got it, but these days I don’t play it too often. It is the nicest sounding 12 string I’ve played, but I guess I’m just a 6 string guy. There is a repaired finish crack on the top, from the bridge almost to the heal. Taylor service at the factory did the repair, a set up (low action) and upgrade of electronics to latest edition. They did a great job with the finish crack, I can’t see the repair. By the way, the blackish dot on the soundboard pics are in the camera not on the guitar, the dot's location is different on the 2nd pic.

I’m trying to reduce, so please no trades on this one. SOLD.

Back/sides: Big Leaf Curly Maple
Top: Sitka Spruce
Neck: Hard Rock Maple
Fretboard/Bridge: Ebony
Binding: Curly Koa
Rosette: Cocobolo
Top edging: Cocobolo
Neck inlays: Leaf Pattern Abalone/MOP
Nut width: 1 7/8ths
Scale: 25 ½
Finish: All gloss
Nut Saddle: Tusq
Strings: Elixir Nanoweb 80/20 bronze 12 string lights .010

Yes, Ben Benavente at Taylor told me it is 1 of only 14 when I called to confirm the serial number. He also provided me with the specs listed in the ad. Beautiful and great sounding, I've wondered why Taylor hasn't done another 12 string Ltd like this one.

I have the 6 string version of this model, and that guitar is one of the best sounding 6'ers I've played.

Sure would be nice to have the matching 6&12 string pair!

Thanks for the nice comments. I've been unsure if I really want to sell, I'll play it a while and question my decision. I still believe I have too many guitars, so if anyone wants to make me an offer......

Thanks for the nice comment “cry”. I’m kind of surprised this one hasn’t sold yet. It’s a lot like the $10,000 MAP, 2012 Maple Builder’s Reserve G/A 6 string (with 40 watt amp). Both are Flamed Maple with Koa Mini Back Wedge/Spruce, with limited appointments. I think they’d look good together as a set. This one has had time to open up and has that great Taylor 12 string playability.
