Maritime SWS Rosewood
So I have an opportunity to pick up a Seagull Maritime SWS Rosewood for $550.00 "NEW". Question is, is this a good deal? anyone have one and have an opinion on them?

It's a good price for a brand new Seagull Maritime SWS Rosewood. The average street price is around $800 ...
Curious as to why you say "New" in quotes? If it's second-hand, then the price is still okay, but not exceptional. Be aware that for some reason this model only comes in what Seagull terms their "slim" nut width of 1.72, while most Seagulls have the 1.8 inch nut. It's still wider than the average dreadnought 1.68 nut. This may matter to you or it may not.

Go for it. They sound really great, and the slim neck is what I love about them. I was playing one at the shop near me, and I didn't want to leave it. I can't afford another guitar right now though.

Well I pulled the trigger! I need another guitar like I need a kick in the head! but God love my wife she found it while visiting our daughter and is buying it tomorrow and having it shipped home. Love my wife! I have made the conscious decision to thin out a couple from the current herd!
