I've not played that model, but Washburns, generally, are a pretty good tone for the buck guitar. A local dealer carries them and I've been impressed w/ the build quiality and tone on every one I've played.

These are fairly new
These have only been around for about a year now Washburn has gone through a major change over in ownership and managment and also facotries that build for them in China.
Thus they have changed just about everything that they use to build from closing their Custom shop ( they have talked about re-opening the custom shop and doing custom acoustics again ) to brand new designs and I think just about all of the guitars they now build will have solid tops. I have tried the guitar you mentioned for only a few minutes and for the price I thought was not to shaby not sure you can go wrong with it to be honest. If you do purchase one please do come back and share your thoughts on it.Ship PS I was a pretty serious Washburn junkie at one time with over 15 at one given time even went so far as this |
