Default Agf Critics Collide

I posted up an earlier version of Collide by Howie Day and I got some very good and constructive comments on how to tweak it for improvement. Thanks to all for the suggestions as they help me get outside of myself and hear the song in a different way. I think that this is a very cool guitar community and the concept of show and tell is a really great idea.

Here is the updated version including an improved presentation as well

Let me know what you think,

Bud

Bud, I think you sound pretty-darn good. Of course, I say that for everyone who plays and sounds better than I do...lol....But, seriously, you do a real nice rendition of the song. I like it alot. Good video. You're easy-to-listen-to.

Good stuff, Budster. I especially love the vocals on this one. Not sure how I missed the first round of this song, but I'm glad you gave it another go.

Thanks for sharing!

Hey Bud . . . Great job on this rendition. I liked it the first time through, but this version was even better. Great vocal, fine soundibg guitar and very nice video quality.

Great job Budster! I remember liking the last one, and I really like this one. I think on this one the guitar is a tad bit more aggressive which makes it more steady and really carries the song. Vocals are great with an enviable range!

Hey Bud....very nice cover of this tune. Your playing is smoother and sounds more confident on this, and the vocals are great and really show your range well. Thanks for sharing.

Good evening Bud,

Good job I think your playing is very good and I am impressed with the way you controlled your voice with the vocal range. Thanks for the posting

Hey Bud you did a great job. As always I like your voice and guitar sounded great with this song too. I like the reverb on your vocal. Question: Are you using a camcorder, computer...etc. I would love to see your sound/video chain on your recordings. Thanks, Ed

Howdy Ed,

I am using a logi-tech webcam for the video. For the audio I am using a Tascam DP008 digital recorder. I then just sync them up using movie maker. I really like the Tascam because it is so simple to use and I don't have to use any mixing software with it. You just record it and them mix it right on the Tascam.
